CHARACTERISTICS horse-based, chimeras tend to have the attributes of other animals. most commonly the lion, the goat, or the snake. some have avian qualities, including wings. may be a mixture of more than one of the aforementioned animals. for example, a chimera may have the body and hind legs of a horse, and the forebody of a lion and a snake for a tail. they tend to have multiple heads, however there is only one consciousness to a chimera, meaning each head does not have its own personality, and is instead dominated by the singular consciousness. think of the extra heads as limbs, like an arm or a leg - fully function, just unable to think. chimeras also, depending on the animals that they are comprised of, can be herbivores, carnivores, or omnivores.
chimeras cannot breed a unicorn, a pegasus or a unipeg, and tend to throw litters, rather than a singular offspring.
COLORATIONS typically natural colors, such as black, gray, bay, chestnut, palomino or white. usually adopt the coloration of their primary animals.
BUILD varies extensively, depending on the animal adaptations.
