'I'm becoming this all I want to do
Is be more like me and be less like you'
'I'm becoming this all I want to do
Is be more like me and be less like you'
The sky was a dark, pitless thing. Gray clouds rolling across it's blackness, giving warning of a storm. The air was thick with a silvery fog that rolled across the expanse of the terra and the sea. The water's where dark, lapping against the sand and the ashen rocks that protuded from the shallow depths. A wind picked up, bringing a biting coldness to the area. A owl cried from inside the forest, the sound echoing over the dark beach, and far into the darkness of the sea. A large dark wave came forth to slam against the ground. Thunder rumbled, and lightning flashed like a white cut into the dark sky. Everything was so quiet...and deserted. Then, the soft sound of splashing was heard.[/font]
A equine was in the shallow water's. Her rump and rear pillars where down, her front pillars stretched out tauntly, crown lowered. The equine must have fallen and was trying to stand, but to no avail. She was a unique equine...seemed to be to worthy of the lands here. Her crown was finely shaped, yet more of andalusian then arabian. Her tear-drop auds where pointed to the sides, water dripping from their edges. Long, ashy lashes framed her orbs that where wide, beautiful things. Their color was a golden molten chocolate. Her nostrils where flared as she breathed deeply. Upon her forehead was a skewar, the color of diamond ivory. Her crown connected to a long, arching neck. Thick strands of ivory mane rolled down her neck, and her forelock moved down to brush against her neck. Her chest was small, with long front pillars. The pillars where splayed out, those muscular things standing in three feet of water, cloven ivory daggers out of view. Her torso was rounded, with a powerful rump and plume that was cascading into the water's. Her rear pillars where out of view, hidden by mist and water alike. Her pelt was a glorious hue of purple with silver run through. Oh the beauty she beheld!
The equine once more tried to stand, before finally making it to all four pillars. She stood shakily, water dripping from her pelt. A snort escaped her maw as she spoke softly Dang, should know better then to come out when there is a fog she murmured, her lyrics earthy and rich. Blindly, she walked forth to the beach, stumbling every now and then because she couldn't see much. Spotting a large flat rock, the equine leaped up onto it and shook herself once. She shivered from the wind, and glanced around. The mist clung to her, and with her purple hue coat, she looked like a divine ghost. Her crown tilted as she scanned the place before finding the shore. With a snort, she leaped off the rock and bounded to it.
When she reached the sandy ground, she shook herself once more, water dripping from her. No more going out there she murmured, and turned to glance at the forest. She shifted slightly before walking forth, knowing the woods would provide shelter from the storm brewing up. Though as she walked, her sense of hearing picked up the sound of daggers touching the terra. Her crown swung to the left, auds pricked. Who is there? she questioned, stepping forth. The equine was no chicken, and was highly curious of what was out there. Having not seen one of her kind, a equine, for a while she wanted to know who was coming. Be it Pegasus, Unicorn like she, or one of those disgraces, she wished to speak to it.
Holding her breath, she waited with a patient mind. Her stance calm, but muscles taunt. It was always good to be prepared.
